Stayed for 3 nights, the staff was amazingly attentive during all this time. The location was perfect for traveling around York, next to a real pub with great staff and the restaurant. Had brunch in the The Hop, located nearby.

The location was absolutely fabulous and ideal, walking distance to a museum and a castle. It was right at York downtown. - the rooms were spotless and huge, had shower facilities and bath sheets. - the bed was very clean. - the staff was very hard-working and amazingly helpful.

The location was particularly good and fab for York, just off York city centre. I explored Quilt Museum and Gallery a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. - Had breakfast in the bar. Rewritten: The location of Golden Fleece York is fantastic, being just off York city centre and close to York's oldest shopping street. I enjoyed visiting the Quilt Museum and Gallery, which was only a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. I also had breakfast in the bar, which was a great experience.

Convenient base for celebrating a birthday with great Wi-Fi. Marvelous and fabulous location in York, near all the local shops and the local ghost walk. - Great choice for Christmas celebrations.
